Notes Apps To Sharepoint

When considering these migrations it is always a challenge to determine the right solution. The migration of data from Notes to SharePoint is very simple, and in fact you can move forms, views, and formula language from Notes over to SharePoint easily.

Where the problems lie is in the workflow and automation that may be in your custom applications. These are elements that need to be recoded. Nothing is going to take a custom built Lotuscript agent and recode it into .NET or into Visual Basic. You need the source code and the flow of the object to redesign it.

BinaryTree can help with this using their CMT Inspector Enterprise software (http://www.binarytree.com/products/cmtio.aspx) This will analyze your environment and we can even estimate the cost of migrating applications to SharePoint. Additionally the CMT for SharePoint (http://www.binarytree.com/products/cmtso.aspx), can help with the moving of items I have already mentioned.
